Learn about our story, mission, and the values that drive every act of service we undertake.
Ummeed Foundation (ummeed meaning "hope" in Urdu) is a registered social and humanitarian welfare trust based in Bangalore. We were established under the umbrella of Masjid-e-Ansaar Trust, drawing strength from the spirit of community, brotherhood, and selfless giving that Islam champions.
Our work spans education support for children, emergency medical financial assistance, food and ration distribution, and broader community welfare programs. We are entirely community-funded and volunteer-driven.
Located in the heart of J.C. Nagar, Pillana Garden, Bangalore, we serve families across the city and surrounding areas — with every rupee donated accounted for and deployed with care.
To provide dignified, compassionate, and transparent support to underprivileged families in the areas of education, healthcare, nutrition, and community welfare — inspired by Islamic values of charity and brotherhood.
A just and caring community where no child is denied education, no family goes hungry, and no person suffers in silence for lack of financial support — where every act of giving creates ripples of lasting change.
Ummeed Foundation operates as a social welfare wing under the guidance and governance of Masjid-e-Ansaar Trust. This affiliation ensures strong community accountability, ethical governance, and deep-rooted trust among our donors and beneficiaries.
We are accountable to every donor and every beneficiary. Our processes are open, documented, and community-reviewed.
Detailed records of every donation received and disbursed are maintained and shared with the community and donors on request.
Every family we serve is treated with dignity. We see the human being, not just the need — and we respond with genuine care.
